Set in the same universe as Cry, Better Yet Beg, Bastian follows a revenge-based contract marriage between a disgraced noblewoman and a trauma-hardened naval officer. What starts as psychological warfare quickly spirals into emotional manipulation, physical abuse, and scenes that made me physically uncomfortable.
