✨ Synopsis
In an alternate Taishō-era world, Tsugumi Kuze agrees to an arranged marriage to protect her family. Before her life can settle, her younger brother attempts suicide while holding a mysterious old book. Soon, Tsugumi is approached by agents of the Imperial Library Information Assets Management Bureau “Fukurō” and learns about cursed tomes called Maremono that can twist a reader’s mind. 💭 My Take
This one is for the people who love pretty men, a cursed-book mystery, and that “something is seriously wrong” atmosphere. It starts with emotional shock, then slides into investigations, secret groups, and psychological tension. The best part is the vibe: it’s moody, dramatic, and kinda addictive if you like supernatural stories that feel a little dangerous.
If you’re watching for romance only, just know the plot is doing a lot too. But if you want a reverse harem where the men are hot, the stakes are darker, and the mystery keeps dragging you forward, you’ll probably eat this up.
