It was a one-shot so everything went super fast. But let me tell you—this story is everything. I love how the author managed to capture their love in such a short space. Yuki and Shiori melted my heart. And Chii? Absolutely adorable. Her cuteness is off the charts.
The story follows Shiori, a single mother with a daughter in kindergarten, and Yuki, a freeter saving up for her dream. After an argument, Shiori’s daughter Chii runs away and is found by Yuki in the mud. What starts as a chance encounter becomes something deeper as Chii’s attachment to Yuki brings the two women closer together.
The author portrayed their relationship so naturally and with so much love. It wasn’t just a good GL story—it was a great love story, period. For a one-shot, it hit me in all the right places. It’s soft, tender, and full of tiny lovey-dovey moments. I’m so lucky I read it.
