This was so adorable. What I loved most is that the “conflict” was not huge drama or endless misunderstandings. It was two childhood best friends navigating uncertainty, questioning what their feelings meant, and discovering themselves along the way.

Kazuho’s love for Tokio felt so tender because it came from years of friendship, comfort, and familiarity. That made the fear of changing everything hit even harder. Loving someone who has always been your safe place is scary because there is so much to lose.

I also appreciated that there was an actual confession and an actual answer from both of them. I had a feeling Tokio was going to say yes, but the story still made me nervous because his feelings were not instantly clear. Watching him take the time to understand Kazuho’s emotions and his own made the payoff feel earned instead of rushed.

This is definitely a sweet, fluffy, childhood friends-to-lovers BL with just enough emotional uncertainty to make your heart squeeze.
