FROG

Give Me a Hug, Mr. Frog!
This was SO cute. I was genuinely kicking my feet while reading because Takanashi and his frog-mascot comfort hugs were absolutely adorable. What starts as a simple little routine quickly turns into something much sweeter once the person behind the frog costume becomes part of his life outside of it too.
I loved their dynamic, and the pacing worked really well for a one-shot. I was actually surprised by how quickly these two fell for each other, but honestly? I was here for it. 😂 Their chemistry made the faster romance feel fun rather than rushed, and I loved watching their relationship change from comforting hugs to actual romantic feelings.
And YES, we actually got kisses! Multiple kisses, thank you very much. 🤭 The ending even turns up the heat a little, which I was definitely not complaining about. I finished this with the biggest smile on my face. Cute, romantic, comforting, and just a little spicy. An easy 4.7/5 for me. 🐸💗
The story keeps things simple and lets the chemistry do the work. The frog hugs are ridiculously cute, the romance moves quickly without dragging, and their personalities play off each other really well. It gave me exactly what I wanted from a fluffy BL one-shot while still giving the romance a satisfying payoff.
The whole frog-hug concept! 🐸 Takanashi secretly finding comfort in those hugs while having no idea who is really inside the costume made their relationship so much cuter once everything started coming together.
