  • School: Seika High School
  • Occupation: Student council president, maid, later diplomat/lawyer

✨ Appearance

Misaki has black shoulder-length hair, warm amber-brown eyes, and a sharp but cute look that matches her intense personality. At school, she is usually seen in her Seika High uniform, while at Maid Latte she wears the classic maid uniform that creates the funniest contrast with her strict “Demon President” image.

🧠 Personality

Misaki is fierce, disciplined, stubborn, protective, and almost painfully hardworking. She pushes herself way too hard because she feels responsible for everyone around her, especially the girls at Seika High and her family. Her softer side is buried under layers of pride, exhaustion, and “I can handle it myself” energy.

📜 Background

Misaki becomes the first female student council president at Seika High, a school that recently changed from all-boys to co-ed. Because the school is still mostly male and has a rough reputation, she works hard to protect the girls and reform the school’s image. Outside of school, she secretly works at Maid Latte to help support her family after her father leaves them with debt. Her carefully controlled double life gets messy when Takumi Usui discovers her secret.

💕 Relationships

  • Takumi Usui: Her main love interest, eventual husband, and the one person who constantly breaks through her walls.
  • Suzuna Ayuzawa: Her younger sister, calm and quietly supportive.
  • Minako Ayuzawa: Her mother, whom Misaki works hard to support.
  • Hinata Shintani: Her childhood friend who has long-held feelings for her.
  • Sakura & Shizuko: Her close friends who help bring out her warmer side.

💫 Trivia

  • Misaki is trained in aikido.
  • Her nickname at Seika is the “Demon President.”
  • She works at Maid Latte under the maid name “Misa.”
  • She is scared of ghosts despite acting fearless most of the time.
  • In the manga ending, she becomes a diplomat/lawyer and marries Takumi.

💬 My Thoughts

Misaki is one of those classic shōjo heroines who still hits because she is not just “strong” for aesthetic points. She is exhausted, defensive, prideful, and carrying way too much, but that is exactly what makes her interesting. Her dynamic with Usui is chaotic, dramatic, funny, and very early-2010s shōjo in the best messy way.

What makes her stand out is how hard she tries even when she is clearly overwhelmed. She wants to protect everyone, fix the school, support her family, keep her job hidden, and still act like she has everything under control. Girl was basically running on determination and rage, and honestly? Icon behavior.

Overall vibe: Overworked student council queen with a secret maid job and legendary tsundere energy.
